For a multi-window or multi-display recording, ⌘-click each source, then press Return or click Start Recording. Screenflare keeps every source editable and follows which one you bring forward.
Choose what to include
Before selecting a target, use the controls on the Capture bar to choose:
- Camera for an editable webcam bubble.
- Microphone for narration.
- System Audio for sound from the Mac.
- Keystrokes for an optional keycap overlay. This needs Input Monitoring access.
- Countdown and Auto Zoom from the settings button.
The camera preview is only a guide while recording. The camera is saved separately, so you can move, resize, restyle, or hide it in the editor.
During the recording
Use the floating recording bar to stop, pause, start over, or discard. ⌥⌘2 pauses and resumes without leaving a gap in the finished video.
Screenflare excludes its own capture controls from the recording. When you stop, the project is saved and opens in the editor.
